With the rapid development of information technology, education changes a great deal for the past decade.
We are calling papers to discuss the changes focusing on three aspects:
(1) educational communications, (2) technology and, and (3) learning experiences.

Guest of Honor was Ms. Rita Fan, the now chairperson of the HKSAR Legislative Council and Keynote Speakers came from USA, China and Taiwan. About 300 tertiary educators and professionals coming from mainland China, Taiwan, US, Macau, Singapore and Malaysia attended the Conference.
It was the very first conference of its kind held in Hong Kong bringing scholars from both the mainland and Taiwan together. We used "three spoken media and two languages" to exchange views and thoughts in the development of communication and educational technology.

Besides organizing the afore mentioned international conferences, and conducting more than ten workshops for local members and professionals, the HKAECT hosted over 600 Chinese scholars and professionals in a number of occasions, including the recent collaboration with the China Educational Technology Association, and Hong Kong Baptist University (November 2006) . The Association made special arrangements for them to visit several tertiary institutions, secondary schools, primary schools, and also The Radio Television Hong Kong (ETV) and a few landmarks in Hong Kong.
